For over 25 years, Lucas Equine Equipment has established and maintained a reputation for designing and manufacturing the highest quality custom made horse stall components in the world. We are always searching for ways to grow and new avenues to explore. 

These were our design criteria: Safety: (1) We stayed with the tried and true material of commercial grade steel to keep horses and handlers safer. (2) We used a plunger latch built into the door so there is nothing to snag horse or handler. (3) Connectors are hidden to avoid snags.

Lucas Equine Equipment takes its name from Mr. Lucas who started a company that built paddock gates for the local horse farms in nearby Lexington, Kentucky. In 1981, Dana Looker purchased Mr. 

Lucas Equine Equipment’s faithfulness to treating our employees well has earned the loyalty of some of central Kentucky’s finest citizens. Many of our employees have been with us for over 20 years! This in turn benefits our customers in that we offer excellent knowledge and craftsmanship.
