While the use compost has become much more common in recent years, there are still lots of gardeners who have yet to discover just how much of a difference high-quality compost can make.
Although on-farm composting is becoming more common in Vermont, there are still relatively few farms taking advantage of the benefits that composting offers as a fertility and/or manure management strategy.
